Independence, Inc. is dedicated to changing the world for people with disabilities. Would you like to be part of our movement? 

We are looking for an Independent Living Specialist to work out of our Bottineau, ND office. This position has two primary functions. First, it will assist youth and young adults to prepare for the workforce by developing pre-employment and independent living skills in a school and/or community based setting. Second, it will provide information and referral, advocacy, skills training and vocational skills training to adults with disabilities. This job requires you to able to work well independently and be able to learn complicated tasks quickly. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate well with people from various social and ethic backgrounds both verbally and in writing.  

This job is approximately 24-28 hours per week.
