Creating for Change - Art Club for Adults (1)

Independence, Inc. is excited to announce our first Peer support art club for adults, "Creating for Change". This group will meet monthly IN PERSON! The agency invites artists, age 18 or older with disabilities to participate.  

Our first meeting with be August 5th from 3-5 PM at Oak Park Shelter 11. 

The group will be co-facilitated by peers and Program Director Jamie Hardt. 

Participants will have the opportunity to socialize with others, express themselves, and promote disability awareness through art. 

The group is FREE and available to anyone with a physical disability, mental health condition, substance abuse disorder, chronic illness, degenerative disease, learning or cognitive disability, phobia, brain injury, or senior. All supplies will be provided by Independence, Inc.
